Ventura City firefighters responded to a structure fire on the west end of the city early Saturday morning.
It was reported at 4:54 AM in the 200 block of East Vince Street.
When they arrived on scene, firefighters found a garage/storage structure to the rear of a residential duplex well involved in flames.
Fire crews initiated a rapid, coordinated attack on the fire.
They were able to contain the fire to the structure of origin without extention to the adjacent dwellings and no residents were displaced due to the fire.
There were also no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
