For the second time in three weeks, a Ventura store fell victim to an armed robber.
Police say that around 7:20 PM Sunday a masked man with a rifle entered the Auto Zone in the 2600 block of East Main Street, approached the two employees, and demanded money from the cash register.
They complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled.
Police were called, officers responded, but did not find the suspect.
No one was hurt.
On November 27th, the same business was robbed by a masked man with a rifle.
Police say they do not know if the two crimes are related.
Gunmen have struck various stores around the city of Ventura a dozen times in two months.
Two suspects have been arrested for some of the holdups, but police say they are looking for the suspects who were involved in the other robberies.
