The Oxnard Police Department's Major Crimes Bureau is investigating that city's third homicide of this year.
Shortly after 1:30 PM Wednesday afternoon a shooting was reported in the 200 block of Cuesta Del Mar, the city's Southwinds neighborhood just north of Hueneme Road.
They found a man in his 30's in the south alley suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was rushed to VCMC where he died.
Crime scene investigators and detectives have been at the scene all afternoon collecting evidence and canvassing the neithborhood and nearby businesses for witnesses and other information.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
