Oxnard Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

     Oxnard police arrested a suspect in a robbery at The Collection Sunday afternoon.

   It happened around 5:30 PM outside the Panera Bread at 2720 Portico Way.

   Police say two suspects came up to to the two victims and one threatened the victims and took the victim's jewelry before both suspects jumped into a Mercedes Benz and fled.

   The victims, both teenagers, were not injured.

   Police responded and spotted the suspect's Mercedes in the Collection parking lot.

   They found 18-year-old Joseph Angel Sandoval-Bibiano of Oxnard in the vehicle.

   Police say he was identified as one of the two suspects in the robbery and was taken into custody.

   Sandoval-Bibiano was booked into the Ventura County Jail for felony first degree robbery and a misdemeanor drug charge.

   His bail was set at $100,000 and he is due in court Tuesday to be arraigned.

   Police are still looking for the other suspect.
