Updated--The Oxnard teenager who was shot to death over the weekend has been identified.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office tells KVTA News that 17-year-old Peter Morales died from a single gunshot wound to the chest and his death is a homicide.
Officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the 1700 block of Elsinore Circle at 10:47 PM Saturday night.
They found Morales suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to the trauma center at VCMC where he died.
The Oxnard PD Major Crimes Unit is investigating the homicide.
As of Monday, detectives say they are still looking for suspects and a motive for Oxnard's tenth homicide of 2019.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
