Ventura police are looking for the gunman who robbed a convenience store Saturday night.
It happened shortly after 9:30 PM at the Circle K at 1001 S. Petit Avenue.
Police say the suspect, wearing a mask and armed with a handgun, entered the store, brandished a gun at the clerk, and demanded money from the register.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police received a 911 call and officers responded and searched the area but did not find the suspect who was described as a white male in his 20's wearing a black shirt and tan pants.
This is the latest in a series of armed robberies in Ventura over the past two months.
In almost a dozen robberies, the suspect or suspects are armed with a firearm and have their face covered with a mask or bandana.
Two arrests have been made in connection with some of the holdups, but police believe there are more suspects out there and the investigation continues.
