Camarillo Burglary Suspect Caught In The Act

     A task force of detectives from Oxnard PD, Ventura PD, and the Ventura County Auto Theft Task Force has been working to catch suspects in a rash of commercial burglaries at restaurants in Port Hueneme, Oxnard, and Ventura.

   Friday morning before dawn they ended up catching one suspect in the act of breaking into a Taco Bell in the 1500 block of Flynn Road in Camarillo.

   After the task force members caught the suspecd in the act they called in deputies from the Camarillo PD who took the suspect into custody.

   41-year-old Nathan Knuppel of Oxnard was arreted for commercial burglary and booked into the Ventura County Jail.

   According to Ventura County court records, Knuppel has a previous conviction for burglary and drug use but they go back to 2000 and 2001, there is nothing recent in his record.
