The Ventura County Sheriff's Office says that following a two month investigation they've arrested a Ventura man on drug and gun charges.
They say that Wednesday a search warrant was served on the home of 42-year-old Adam Neary in the 600 block of Thompson Boulevard.
Detectives say that during the search they found paraphernalia associated with explosive device manufacturing so the Bomb Squard was called in to remove the materials.
They also say they found several illegal firearms and a large quantity of ammunition including an AK-47 assault rifle, multiple sawed-off short barrel shotguns, and an illegal firearm noise suppressor.
In addition, detectives say they found a large quantity of methamphetamine and non-prescribed opioid medication.
Neary was booked into the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $500,000.
He is due in court Friday to be arraigned.
