The Ventura Police Department Is Seeking Public Help In Search For Hit And Run Driver

     The Ventura Police Department is seeking public help in identifying a hit and run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian last month near the San Buenaventura State Beach.

     Shortly before 1:30 AM on the morning of November 18th, a pedestrian was found down in the eastbound lanes of Harbor Boulevard at San Jon Road.

     The pedestrian, who was unconscious and severely injured, was rushed to the hospital and is recovering although facing extensive rehabilitation.

     The vehicle that struck the pedestrian left the area and is being sought by police for felony hit and run.

     It is believed to be a 1992 through 1995 white Honda Civic 4 door.

     Police have released surveillance camera photos of the vehicle and they are asking anyone who may have any information about the incident, the vehicle, or the driver, to let them know.
